Five new chips from 4 different species were added to the SNPchimp v.2.

BOVINE (Thank you George Wiggans and Chandrasen Soans!!)

The Illumina LDv1.1 SNP chip was added.  Please note that the FORWARD allele coding for this SNP chip has been updated, and at least 8 SNPs have different forward allele coding than the same SNPs in other SNP chips!

 

EQUINE (Thank you Barry Simpson and Gary Evans!!)

Full information on the GeneSeek-Neogen 65k SNP chip is now available. 

 

OVINE (Thank you Rudiger Brauning and John McEwan!!)

The ovine species is now available in the SNPchiMp v.2 tool!! We have currently included 2 SNP chips: the Illumina SNP50 and the AgResearch OvineHD SNP chip. More will probably follow...

 

CAPRINE (Thank you Gwenola Tosser-Klopp and the  International Goat Genome Consortium - IGGC - !! )

The caprine species is also now available! Please note that assembly information for this species is available on the Chinese Goat v.2 assembly, the Sheep OAR v.2 and the Bovine UMD3.
